01 Introduction

Welcome to AIScamHunter. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", or "your") and ASSISTYU.COM ("we", "us", "our", or "Company"), the owner and operator of the AIScamHunter browser extension ("Extension" or "Service").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Extension in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Extension and uninstall it from all your devices.

02 Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the Extension is expressly conditioned on your acceptance of these Terms. You represent that you are at least 16 years of age, or if you are under 16, that you have obtained parental or legal guardian consent to use the Extension. By using the Extension, you also confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the Extension after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically.

03 Description of Service

AIScamHunter is a browser extension that provides real‑time security analysis of websites, blocking phishing attempts, crypto scams, fake shops, malicious redirects, trackers, and dangerous downloads. The Service operates primarily through local, on‑device analysis and does not require cloud processing for core functionality.

We offer a free version with full core protection features, and an optional Premium tier that provides additional tools and priority support. Premium features are activated manually via our support team.

We do not guarantee 100% protection. While we strive to detect and block as many threats as possible, no security software can prevent every attack. You acknowledge that you use the Extension at your own risk.

04 User Accounts & Premium

The Extension does not require you to create an account for basic functionality. If you choose to activate Premium features, you may need to provide limited contact information (such as a phone number or email) for verification purposes. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information.

Premium activation is a manual process. We do not use automatic recurring billing. Any payment information you share with us is handled securely and is not stored within the Extension itself. You may cancel your Premium status at any time by contacting us; however, no refunds will be provided for the current billing period unless otherwise required by law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any activation credentials or tokens provided to you. You agree not to share, transfer, or resell your Premium access to any third party.

05 Intellectual Property Rights

The Extension, including its source code, object code, design, graphics, logos, text, algorithms, threat‑detection models, and all associated documentation, is the exclusive intellectual property of ASSISTYU.COM and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension on compatible browsers for your personal, non‑commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. This license does not permit you to:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension.
• Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the Extension to any third party.
• Use the Extension for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks from the Extension.

The AIScamHunter name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of ASSISTYU.COM. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

06 User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

While the Extension is designed to protect you, you also agree to use it responsibly. You must not:

• Use the Extension to conduct or facilitate any illegal activity.
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Extension or its associated servers.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or manipulate the Extension's security features.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Extension in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Upload, post, or transmit any content through the Extension's reporting tools that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes upon the rights of others.
• Use the Extension in a way that violates the terms of service of any website or third‑party platform.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your right to use the Extension, without prior notice, and may expose you to legal liability.

07 Third‑Party Links & Services

The Extension may interact with third‑party websites, services, or APIs (such as threat intelligence feeds). We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for any third‑party content, privacy policies, or practices.

Any interactions you have with third‑party services are solely between you and that third party. We are not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of such third‑party services.

08 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE EXTENSION IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON‑INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Extension will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or completely secure; that it will detect every threat or malicious website; or that any defects will be corrected. The security landscape is constantly evolving, and no security solution can offer perfect protection.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

09 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ASSISTYU.COM, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the Extension;
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Extension;
• Any malware infection, data breach, or financial loss that occurs despite the Extension's protection.

Our aggregate liability for any claims arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Premium services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty Euros (€50). Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on liability, so these limitations may not apply to you.

10 Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ASSISTYU.COM, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of the Extension; (c) your violation of any third‑party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) any claim that your use of the Extension caused damage to a third party. We reserve the right, at our own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you.

11 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Extension immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Extension will cease immediately. You may also terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Extension and ceasing all use.

All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

12 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively through:

1. Negotiation in good faith between the parties;
2. If negotiation fails, mediation administered by a mutually agreed‑upon mediator in Paris, France;
3. If mediation fails, final and binding arbitration under the rules of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), with the seat of arbitration in Paris, France, conducted in English.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights.

13 Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, we will display a notification within the Extension. Your continued use of the Extension after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed of your rights and obligations.

14 Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By using the Extension, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

The Extension operates on a local‑first model. We do not collect personal data, browsing history, or any other identifiable information without your explicit consent (e.g., optional telemetry).
